Salary: £50,000 PA

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (additional hours may be required to meet the needs of the service)

About the Role

We are supporting an organisation who have 15 homes, seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a Complex Care service. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the service operates in line with the standards set by the Care Quality Commission while delivering safe, effective and person-centred care. You will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, staff development and service growth. The role is primarily based at the service premises; however, you may be required to work at other company locations with appropriate notice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the provider and ensure all required reports are submitted in a timely manner.
  • Create and promote an open, positive and inclusive management culture.
  • Develop and communicate strategic plans for the service.
  • Oversee the implementation of the service’s policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate and monitor the service’s goals and quality objectives.
  • Maintain service operations within the standards agreed with the Registered Provider and within financial parameters.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership across all service functions including administration, care, nursing, catering, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance and people management.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of individuals supported by the service.
  • Lead marketing initiatives for the service and support the promotion and sale of services at agreed rates.
  • Ensure effective multidisciplinary team working across the service.

People Management:

  • Lead recruitment activities to ensure the service is staffed with high-quality professionals.
  • Induct new staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Lead, motivate and support staff to deliver exceptional care.
