An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a market leading engineering and manufacturing organisation operating within the medical and respiratory protection sectors. We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join the team at its Morecambe site, leading a business critical medical device development project from concept through to commercial release.
You will act as the focal point for a cross functional, client facing programme, ensuring delivery against technical, regulatory, quality and commercial objectives.
What you will be doing:
- Lead cross functional project teams to deliver medical device development projects.
- Plan, manage and control project scope, timelines, budgets and risks.
- Oversee product design, verification, validation and design transfer to manufacturing.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
- Ensure full compliance with medical device quality and regulatory requirements.
What do you need to apply:
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a technical project management role.
- Degree qualified in engineering, industrial design or a related discipline.
- Experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
- Highly organised, delivery focused and comfortable working under pressure.
