An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a market leading engineering and manufacturing organisation operating within the medical and respiratory protection sectors. We are looking for a Graduate Design Engineer to support the delivery of medical device development projects at its Morecambe facility. This role is well suited to a graduate or early career engineer looking to gain exposure across the full product development lifecycle within a regulated environment.
What you will be doing:
- Support the design and development of medical device filtration products.
- Create and develop mechanical designs using 3D CAD.
- Assist with prototype build, testing, verification and validation activities.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and technical reports.
- Work collaboratively with customers, suppliers and internal engineering teams.
What do you need to apply:
- Degree qualified in engineering, industrial design or a related discipline.
- Ability to demonstrate practical application of technical knowledge.
- Experience using CAD software, ideally SolidWorks.
- Strong problem solving skills with a hands on and methodical approach.
