As the new Laboratory Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in the formulation of new products where you will be conducting research into mechanisms of action, characterising the physical and chemical properties of newly developed products.
- Conduct research to understand how the product interacts with wounds and the body and how well it promotes healing.
- Perform routine and non-routine tests and analyses.
- Perform quality control and calibrate equipment if necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in an appropriate scientific field (e.g., chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering).
- Proven experience of working in a laboratory with new product formulation/development (In Industry experience is highly beneficial).
- Strong theoretical understanding of chemical principles and material science.
- Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations in different units of measurement.
