Cure Talent is thrilled to partner with a leading medical technology company in their search for a Controls Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative R&D team, working on cutting-edge automation and control systems that contribute to the development of life-changing medical technology.
As a Controls Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimising control systems, ensuring seamless integration into high-performance medical devices. You will provide Control & Instrumentation engineering expertise to multidisciplinary R&D teams, develop and implement PLC HMI, motion control, vision systems, and instrumentation solutions. You will also research, test, and integrate new technologies into future product developments, and optimise and characterise equipment performance through advanced control techniques. Contributing to the full product lifecycle, from concept through to manufacturing, is essential.
Role Requirements:
- HNC or higher qualification in Electrical, Electronic, or Control Engineering.
- Strong experience with PLC programming, HMI, Motion Control, and Vision Systems.
- Knowledge of PID control systems, instrumentation, and automation.
- Hands-on experience in an R&D environment, with a creative and problem-solving mindset.
- Additional experience in databases, electronics, and electrical systems is desirable.
