This is not a diagnostic or maintenance role. You will be designing and building systems from the ground up.
On the Electrical Side, You Will Be:
- Designing and building electrical panels
- Carrying out hands on electrical works, not just producing schematics
- Integrating and commissioning electrical systems within new equipment
On the Controls Side, You Will Be:
- Creating PLC programmes from scratch
- Writing logic and structured code rather than simply editing existing programmes
- Supporting full system development across R&D projects
You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and scientists on a wide range of development projects, giving you exposure to both short term rapid builds and longer-term complex programmes.
About You
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- HNC or higher in Electrical, Electronic or Control Engineering
- Strong hands-on electrical engineering experience
- Experience writing PLC code from scratch, any PLC platform considered
- Experience designing and commissioning control systems
Experience within vision systems, data systems or regulated industries would be advantageous, but are very much nice to have rather than essential.
