Are you an organised, technically minded Project Manager looking for an opportunity where you'll genuinely make an impact? We're partnering with an innovative medical technology company developing complex, world-leading scientific equipment used by universities and research institutions across the globe. As the business continues to grow, they’re looking to appoint a Project Manager to help deliver customer projects while driving improvements across operations and project delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced SME environment, managing multiple projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and taking ownership from project initiation through to completion.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing multiple customer-facing and internal projects from initiation through to delivery
- Coordinating cross-functional teams including Engineering, R&D, Operations, Quality, Procurement and Finance
- Managing project plans, risks, actions, milestones and stakeholder communications
- Supporting customer meetings, reporting and project updates
- Driving continuous improvement across project delivery processes and systems
- Supporting ERP implementation and wider operational improvement initiatives
- Working within a regulated quality environment and contributing towards future quality system development
What we’re looking for:
- Around 5-7 years’ project management experience within engineering, manufacturing, scientific, MedTech or another technical environment
- Experience delivering complex technical products or projects
- Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills
- A structured approach to project planning, risk management and problem solving
- Someone who’s organised, proactive and enjoys improving processes
- Project management qualifications (APM, PRINCE2 or PMP) or an engineering/science degree would be advantageous but aren’t essential
