Cure Talent are excited to partner with a thriving UK Medical Device Manufacturing Company in their search for a Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding Engineering Department. As the new Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of a team of four Engineers working on a rotating shift pattern, providing essential electrical and mechanical support for production machines across the site. This role is key to ensuring machine reliability, minimising downtime, and maintaining compliance with Health and Safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Fault finding and repair of electrical and mechanical issues across production machinery
  • Conducting Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to ensure optimal performance
  • Installing and upgrading electrical circuitry and associated systems
  • Supporting mechanical breakdowns and implementing quick resolutions to reduce downtime
  • Adhering to Health and Safety regulations while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

Key Requirements

  • Electrically biased Multi Skill Engineering Qualifications (Level 3 Apprenticeship) or equivalent
  • Experience in an automated production environment with strong fault-finding skills
  • Solid knowledge of Health and Safety requirements and working in controlled environments
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and manage priorities effectively

Hours of Work

  • Rotating 24‑hour shift pattern
  • 2 Days Working, 2 Days Off, 2 Nights Working, 2 Days Off
