Design Engineer - Additive Manufacturing

Cure Talent are thrilled to be partnering with an innovative company who are at the forefront of developing Medical Devices. With their cutting-edge additive manufacturing techniques that enable them to design and produce patient-specific implants and instruments they are currently looking for an Additive Manufacturing Design Engineer to join the team. As a Design Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of custom implant / instrument design and additive manufacturing, working closely with surgeons, engineers, and commercial managers to develop innovative, patient-specific solutions. Whilst the primary focus of this role is to design implants / instruments, you will also generate technical document to support the designs. You will also provide engineering support to new product projects, workflow, automation software, production capabilities and new materials. To be considered for this role you will need: * To be degree qualified or hold similar qualifications in relevant fields * Have experience of designing for Additive Manufacturing or 3D Printing * Be proficient in CAD
