Following continued site investment and growth, we are looking for a Shift Technician / Engineer to join the team at their Basingstoke facility.

What you’ll be doing:

Working as part of a high-performing engineering team, this Shift Engineer / Technician role will play a key part in maximising uptime across manufacturing, facilities, and laboratory equipment. This is a varied, hands-on position where no two days are the same, combining reactive maintenance, preventative activities, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance across manufacturing, facilities and lab equipment
  • Supporting instrumentation calibration and maintaining validated specifications
  • Diagnosing faults and implementing effective corrective actions
  • Working alongside contractors on specialist maintenance activities
  • Supporting commissioning of new equipment and processes
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and optimisation of maintenance strategies
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety, quality and compliance standards

What we’re looking for:

  • Apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in an engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation etc.)
  • Experience in a maintenance role within a regulated or manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of preventative maintenance and calibration activities
  • Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
