An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a market leading engineering and manufacturing organisation operating within the medical and respiratory protection sectors. We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer / Technical Project Manager to join the team at its Morecambe site, leading a business critical medical device development project from concept through to commercial release.
You will act as the focal point for a cross functional, client facing programme, ensuring delivery against technical, regulatory, quality and commercial objectives.
What you will be doing:
- Lead cross functional project teams to deliver medical device development projects.
- Plan, manage and control project scope, timelines, budgets and risks.
- Oversee product design, verification, validation and design transfer to manufacturing.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
- Ensure full compliance with medical device quality and regulatory requirements.
What do you need to apply:
- Minimum of three years experience in a technical project management role.
- Degree qualified in engineering, industrial design or a related discipline.
- Experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
- Highly organised, delivery focused and comfortable working under pressure.
