Following continued site investment and growth, we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer / Technician to join the team at their Basingstoke facility.
What you'll be doing:
- Working as part of a high-performing engineering team, this Maintenance Engineer / Technician role will play a key part in maximising uptime across manufacturing, facilities, and laboratory equipment.
- This is a varied, hands-on position where no two days are the same, combining reactive maintenance, preventative activities, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance across manufacturing, facilities and lab equipment.
- Supporting instrumentation calibration and maintaining validated specifications.
- Diagnosing faults and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Working alongside contractors on specialist maintenance activities.
- Supporting commissioning of new equipment and processes.
- Contributing to continuous improvement and optimisation of maintenance strategies.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety, quality and compliance standards.
What we're looking for:
- Apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in an engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation etc.).
- Experience in a maintenance role within a regulated or manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of preventative maintenance and calibration activities.
- Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
