About The Gallery
The Old Red Bus Station is a DIY gallery and event space in Leeds city centre. The Walls supports local artists and provides a platform for them to showcase their work at ORBS, creating a creative hub which we would like to invite the students of Leeds into.
The Nook brings a part of The Walls into The University Of Leeds so that students can \”test the waters\” and springboard into the creative industry.
Exhibition Opportunity
We offer our spaces for artists to exhibit their work free of charge, letting them engage audiences further, without financial restraints.
We welcome students who are studying in Leeds at undergraduate or further education level, from any of the Leeds universities.
The Nook is an opportunity specifically for students; however, if you are not a student and want a space to exhibit your work please create an application on \”The Walls\” opportunities.
You can submit as many pieces for this opportunity as you like.
When exhibiting your work we can offer curatorial advice on what pieces to showcase and how to present them.
We will also promote your exhibition on our Instagrams @the_orbs_walls and @cantinaleeds.
The Nook is an ongoing opportunity that does not currently have a deadline.
