This is a unique opportunity to transform the space, connect with a wide audience, and be part of a growing community that celebrates independent art.
We are looking for Leeds-based artists who would like to exhibit in one of our bars for approx. three months. No experience putting on exhibitions is required - we are focused on showcasing quality artists of all backgrounds, free of charge. Our Spring/Summer exhibitions will begin end of April/throughout May 2026 with a specific date discussed with the artist. Please let us know if you have a preference venue-wise, and we will try our best to accommodate this. Also, please let us know if you would prefer to exhibit later on in 2026 - we are always on the lookout for future exhibitors!
Exhibition requirements: any artwork that can be mounted onto a wall, whether that’s photography, painting, drawing, sculpture, video or anything in between. You can choose a theme and/or name for the show, and we will create a poster and market it on social media and in the venue. As part of the exhibition, we will host an optional open evening in the bar - we will help you run this. All artists are given the opportunity to sell their work in the bar, and will keep 100% of the profits.
The Venues:
- Alfred, Meanwood - Approx 4 metres (w) x 1.8 metres (h) (There is a television measuring 97cm by 56.5cm mounted at the top of the wall.) There is also opportunity to display work above the door and window frames.
- Further North, Chapel Allerton - Approx. 3.25m (w) x 2.25m (h)
- North Bar, New Briggate - Approx 7.5 metres (w) x 1.5 metres (h) (There is a slatted wooden wall - approx 5 metres by 2.5 metres - opposite, that is optional to use)
