Curated are excited to be working exclusively with a high-growth enterprise SaaS pivoting hard into AI. With deep industry data, a strong technical foundation, and genuine executive backing, they are building an Innovation Lab from scratch and hiring the engineers who will define it. This is a rare opportunity to join at the beginning of something that matters, in an industry that is long overdue for transformation.
They are looking for a Software Engineer who is as comfortable designing cloud-native architecture as they are exploring what a well-placed LLM can actually do in production. You will work directly with business stakeholders and senior engineers to build AI-powered systems that replace legacy processes and unlock new ways of working, not prototypes that gather dust, but solutions that ship and stick. This is not a role for someone building AI wrappers. The expectation is production-grade AI systems, designed and owned end-to-end. This is not a role for someone who wants a well-defined ticket queue. It is for someone who sees an unsolved problem and already has three ideas before the meeting ends.
What You'll Do
- Design and build cloud-native services in TypeScript and Python on AWS, with real architectural ownership
- Develop and deploy LLM-based agents, RAG pipelines, and AI workflows that solve genuine business problems
- Lead prototype demonstrations and translate complex technical decisions for non-technical stakeholders
- Produce clean, well-tested code across the full software development lifecycle
- Work closely with business users to shape what gets built, not just how
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of production software engineering experience, with a growing focus on AI and ML applications
- Strong command of TypeScript and Python; experience with microservices, async architecture, and AWS infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG workflows, or agentic systems — and the pragmatism to know when not to use them
- A confident communicator who can hold their own with senior stakeholders and simplify hard tradeoffs clearly
- Adaptable, intellectually curious, and energised by ambiguity rather than slowed by it
Why This Role
Ground-floor access to an AI programme with real resource behind it. Smart colleagues. Hard problems. A company moving fast in a space where the right technology, applied well, genuinely changes how an industry operates. If you are a software engineer ready to do the most meaningful work of your career, we would love to hear from you.
