We’re a fast-growing SaaS business powering mission-critical solutions for global brands. Backed by a leading growth investor, we’re entering an exciting new phase – scaling our platform, launching new products, and expanding into new markets.
We’re now looking for a Head of Architecture to evolve our core platform for performance, scalability, and security. You’ll lead technical strategy while staying close to the code, shaping architecture, and driving best practices across a high-performing engineering team.
What you’ll do
- Scale a high-traffic SaaS platform – improve reliability, latency, and fault tolerance
- Lead platform architecture for cloud-native (AWS/GCP) distributed systems
- Collaborate with product & data teams to deliver AI-driven analytics and new features
- Optimise infrastructure with DevOps for cost, performance & resiliency
- Mentor engineers and raise the bar on code quality, observability & engineering culture
What we’re looking for
- 8+ years backend/full-stack engineering,
- 3+ years in a technical leadership/architecture role
- Proven experience scaling SaaS or other high-traffic platforms
- Deep knowledge of distributed systems (microservices, queues, caching)
- Strong experience with Python or Go
- Cloud-native architecture expertise (AWS or GCP)
- Shape the future of a platform used globally
