Curated is proud to be partnering exclusively with a climate and sustainability-focused startup to hire a Founding Full Stack Engineer. Led by founders from some of Europe’s fastest-growing scale-ups, this team is tackling the challenge of building a more sustainable food system through technology.
If you’re passionate about leveraging technology for environmental impact and have strong backend development experience with Node.js, and Infrastructure using DevOps best practice, this could be the perfect opportunity to shape a mission-driven product from the ground up.
What You’ll Do- Design, build, and maintain web applications and customer-facing APIs, delivering insights powered by advanced data analytics.
- Develop a robust, scalable deployment infrastructure using best practices in DevOps.
- Integrate and analyse complex environmental datasets to support real-world decision-making.
- Collaborate with scientists and data engineers to translate research into actionable insights.
- 3+ years of industry experience in software development, ideally in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.
- Backend experience with Node.js
- DevOps experience, with experience in CI & CD
- Frontend experience with React, Angular, or Vue.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for using technology to drive climate impact.
- Familiarity with AI, Machine Learning, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience working on infrastructure using tools such as Docker, or Kubernetes.
