Curated is partnered with a fast-growing InsurTech scaleup, backed by one of the world's top five global reinsurers. Already writing $200m+ in revenue and scaling quickly, this is a genuine ground-floor opportunity. You'll be the first dedicated security hire into the business, with a clear path to build a team around you and grow into a director or CISO role as the company scales.
The work is hands-on and the environment moves fast. You'll own the security posture across a cloud-native, Azure-first stack, covering incident response, vulnerability management and day-to-day monitoring and defence. The tools are already in place: CrowdStrike, Sumo Logic, Tenable, Wiz. Your job is to own them, evolve them, and continuously raise the bar.
What they're looking for:
- 5+ years of hands-on security experience, ideally within a fast-moving or scaling environment
- Strong across security operations, vulnerability management and incident response
- Cloud-first mindset with solid Azure exposure. This is not an on-prem role
- Hands-on with modern security tooling: CrowdStrike, SIEM, EDR, cloud security platforms
- Scripting ability in Python and/or SQL. A genuine differentiator if you have it
- Comfortable working autonomously and owning things end to end
- Financial services or regulated industry experience is a plus, not a requirement
