They are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer who can combine strong technical design skills with a practical, production focused mindset.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing and developing wire harnesses and electrical systems for heavy duty equipment
  • Working closely with production teams on the shop floor to resolve issues, support builds and ensure manufacturability
  • Creating and updating electrical schematics, harness drawings and documentation
  • Supporting prototype builds and troubleshooting electrical issues
  • Collaborating with mechanical, manufacturing and supplier teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions
  • Ensuring designs meet safety, quality and industry standards
  • Playing a visible, hands on role in the full product lifecycle from concept to production

What We’re Looking For

  • 3 years experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
  • Wire harness design experience
  • Background in heavy machinery, off highway vehicles or military equipment
  • Comfortable working on the shop floor and building strong relationships with production teams
  • Practical, hands on problem solver
  • Confident communicator who can work across engineering and manufacturing

Desirable skills

  • Experience with CANbus / J1939
  • Exposure to controls, embedded systems, or vehicle electrics
  • Experience in construction machinery, agricultural machinery or similar sectors
