They are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer who can combine strong technical design skills with a practical, production focused mindset.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and developing wire harnesses and electrical systems for heavy duty equipment
- Working closely with production teams on the shop floor to resolve issues, support builds and ensure manufacturability
- Creating and updating electrical schematics, harness drawings and documentation
- Supporting prototype builds and troubleshooting electrical issues
- Collaborating with mechanical, manufacturing and supplier teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions
- Ensuring designs meet safety, quality and industry standards
- Playing a visible, hands on role in the full product lifecycle from concept to production
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years’ experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
- Wire harness design experience
- Background in heavy machinery, off highway vehicles or military equipment
- Comfortable working on the shop floor and building strong relationships with production teams
- Practical, hands on problem solver
- Confident communicator who can work across engineering and manufacturing
Desirable skills
- Experience with CANbus / J1939
- Exposure to controls, embedded systems, or vehicle electrics
- Experience in construction machinery, agricultural machinery or similar sectors
