This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join a specialist finance business operating at the heart of the UK agricultural sector. With offices all around the UK, the successful Account Manager can be based anywhere in the UK.
You will be responsible for building and managing a portfolio of clients requiring refinance solutions on used and second-hand agricultural equipment, releasing working capital for farmers and agricultural businesses across the UK. This is a fully remote, field-based role covering the whole of the UK. You will be the face of the business, developing long-term relationships with clients and delivering bespoke finance solutions tailored to their operational needs.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, develop and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities within the agricultural aftersales and used equipment market.
- Provide refinance solutions on second-hand agricultural equipment including tractors, combine harvesters, sprayers and ancillary machinery.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with farmers, agricultural dealers and brokers across the UK.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to completion, working closely with internal credit and operations teams.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, consistently delivering against agreed KPIs.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activity, pipeline and client communications using the CRM system.
- Stay current with agricultural market trends, equipment values and competitor activity.
- Represent the company at agricultural shows, events and trade exhibitions as required.
- Proven track record in a field-based sales or account management role, ideally within asset finance, agricultural finance or the agricultural sector.
- Experience selling into or working within the agricultural aftersales or used equipment market is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of asset finance products including refinance, sale and hire purchase.
- Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to engage credibly at all levels including farm owners, business decision makers and dealer principals.
- Self-motivated, target driven and comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment.
- Full UK driving licence; this role requires regular travel across the UK.
- Proficient in CRM systems and comfortable managing your own pipeline.
- £60,000 Package - Including Company car.
- Competitive realistic commission structure OTE £100,000 - £120,000.
