GLOAT is a fast-growing beauty and lifestyle accessories brand on a mission to bring more joy to everyday rituals.

From cosmetic bags and beauty accessories to self-care essentials, we create products that are stylish, functional, and thoughtfully designed for modern life.

We’re entering an exciting phase of growth and are looking for an exceptional Sales & Marketing Manager to become a key member of our team.

This is a unique opportunity to join an ambitious start-up brand and work directly alongside the founder, helping shape the future of the business.

We’re looking for someone bright, commercially minded, highly organized and hungry for responsibility.

Someone who loves variety, thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys taking ownership.

This is not a role for someone who wants to stay in their lane.

You’ll be involved in almost every area of the business, from marketing and PR to partnerships, retail growth, agency management and day-to-day operations.

The Role

As Sales & Marketing Manager, you will act as the central point of coordination across the business.

You will work closely with the founder to ensure projects are moving forward, opportunities are being pursued and external partners are delivering results.

You’ll oversee marketing activities, manage agencies and freelancers, support retail growth initiatives, assist with PR campaigns and help keep the business running efficiently as we scale.

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, commercially aware and comfortable making decisions.

Someone who naturally takes ownership rather than waits for instruction.

  • Own and maintain the marketing calendar
  • Ensure consistency across all brand touchpoints

  • Assist with partnership negotiations and commercial opportunities
  • PR & Brand Growth
  • Work closely with the founder on PR initiatives and brand awareness campaigns
  • Support media outreach, events and collaboration opportunities
  • Identify opportunities to increase visibility and brand recognition
  • Build relationships with relevant influencers, creators and industry contacts
  • Operations & Business Support
  • Support the day-to-day running of the business

  • Experience working within a start-up, scale-up or fast-growing consumer brand
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and external partners
  • Commercially minded and proactive
  • Confident communicating with agencies, retailers, suppliers and senior stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Naturally resourceful and solutions-focused
  • Able to work independently and take ownership
  • Excited by the challenge of helping grow a young brand

Within your first 12 months, you will

  • Become a trusted right-hand partner to the founder

  • Improve the efficiency and organisation of business operations
  • Deliver successful marketing campaigns and activations
  • Secure new retail and commercial opportunities
