Senior Engineering Manager | Residential Developer

Curated Search Group are supporting the appointment of a Senior Engineering Manager for an established residential developer delivering schemes across London and the South East.
This senior role will oversee engineering delivery from land acquisition through to completion, managing infrastructure, highways, drainage, utilities and technical approvals across multiple residential developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering strategy and technical delivery across residential developments from acquisition through to completion and adoption
- Manage infrastructure, highways, drainage, utilities, groundworks and external works packages
- Oversee civil engineering design coordination, technical approvals and consultant management
- Lead engineering input across land appraisal, technical due diligence, planning and pre-construction stages
- Manage S278, S38 and S104 agreements, adoption processes and statutory approvals
- Identify engineering risks, constraints and opportunities, including value engineering solutions
- Support programme delivery, budgets, cost control and commercial performance
- Work closely with Land, Planning, Technical, Commercial and Construction teams
- Build relationships with local authorities, water authorities, utilities and external consultants
- Drive efficiency and best practice across engineering processes and project delivery
Candidate Profile:
- Experience within residential development, housebuilding or civil engineering environments
- Proven background managing engineering delivery across residential developments
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure, highways, drainage, utilities, earthworks and remediation
- Experience managing consultants, technical design packages and engineering approvals
- Knowledge of S278, S38, S104 agreements and adoption processes
- Strong project management, commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple developments within a fast-paced environment
- Background as a Senior Engineering Manager, Engineering Manager, Technical Manager, Infrastructure Manager, Development Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer preferred
Offering:
- Salary up to £95,000 basic salary
- £7,250 annual car/travel allowance
