As a Corporate Tax Senior, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team, collaborating with over 130 multi-discipline tax advisors. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior colleagues on a variety of tasks, from preparing corporation tax computations and returns to advisory work such as capital allowances, R&D claims, tax due diligence, and transaction/restructuring reports.
- Mentor and support junior staff, fostering their growth and development.
- Conduct tax technical research for broader projects.
- Handle various tax-related administrative tasks.
- Participate in marketing and business development efforts.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, HMRC, and other professional services firms.
- Work alongside audit colleagues on annual tax assignments.
About You
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a corporation tax compliance role.
- ATT/CTA or ACA/CTA qualified (or equivalent), or part-qualified with relevant experience and a keen interest in pursuing CTA.
- Up-to-date technical knowledge and awareness of compliance standards imposed by regulatory authorities for tax and audit.
- Commercially astute with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Organised, efficient, and capable of meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with clients.
- Professional and discreet in client interactions.
- Previous experience with Alphatax is advantageous.
