The Role
As Practice Manager, you’ll be the backbone of day-to-day operations, leading a small, dedicated team while also getting hands-on with client work. You’ll play a central role in shaping the future of the practice. In turn, we’ll support you in shaping your career.
What you\’ll be doing:
- Overseeing daily operations to keep the practice running smoothly
- Preparing accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Translating financial data into meaningful insights for clients
- Leading or supporting commercial, financial, and tax advisory projects
- Creating and reviewing budgets, cashflow forecasts, and management accounts
- Helping clients navigate accounting software and systems
- Staying up to date with developments in tax and accounting standards
About You
You’re an experienced accountant with the drive and vision to step into a leadership role. You enjoy mentoring others, building trusted client relationships, and bringing structure and
clarity to operations. Most importantly, you’re excited about the opportunity to grow with the practice, and potentially lead it in the years ahead.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- ACA or ACCA qualification
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar practice-based role
- Strong working knowledge of cloud-based accounting software (or a willingness to learn)
- Great communication skills, with a calm, confident approach to client relationships
- Experience managing or mentoring a small team
- A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently
- A team-oriented, flexible attitude and a desire to be part of a supportive, friendly environment
