Job Purpose: To ensure that data corresponding to privacy requirements is complete, accurate, consistently categorized, available, relevant, and timely to support key business activities and requirements (e.g. Data Subject Access Request (DSAR)), for effective and continuous management of personal data. This management of data is fundamental for the compliance of increased regulation, efficient delivery of data and compliant with our internal Enterprise Data Management and Governance Policies.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Work with data governance and business teams to identify data owners and stakeholders.
  • Domain data element identification, categorisation, and sourcing.
  • System and field level data flow/lineage validation.
  • Assist with data catalogue scanning of appropriate systems, results analysis, and validation.
  • Assistance with data governance tool (Ab Initio Mhub) domain and data element set up.
  • Assistance with roadmap/integration/mapping of OneTrust to Ab Initio Mhub data elements and meta data.
  • Facilitate data governance meetings, working groups and workshops.
  • Work with data quality team to ensure identified business data elements have appropriate quality rules and the data adheres to agreed DQ metrics.
  • Work with Information Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) EUR to ensure delivery of key strategic deliverables including development of custom personal data classifiers.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a data governance analyst. Must have both business and technical skills.
  • Experience with data governance/management tools and standards and processes.
  • Regulatory project experience in UK regulations such as GDPR & DORA would be beneficial.
  • Data governance/management certifications.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Good communication skills with the ability to work with business and technical teams.
  • System analysis & data analysis.
  • Party/Client & Privacy data domain knowledge.
  • RegEx and SQL experience to create data matching rules and queries.
