ROLE OVERVIEW
This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role for someone who loves building teams and strong cultures, whilst also being confident on advising on HR topics and people policies. Working closely with the Chief of Staff, you’ll be able to lead on all things people - from hiring brilliant talent, onboarding them well, to making sure our policies, processes and day to day practices support a happy, high‑performing team. This is a highly trusted role that requires discretion, organisation and initiative, with responsibility for turning plans into action and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with leaders to build strong team dynamics and efficient ways of working
- Continuously improve people processes to ensure they are scalable and efficient
- Own and run end to end recruitment processes across the business
- Partner with hiring managers to define roles and lead offer management and contract coordination
- Ensure new starters feel welcomed, supported and set up for success from day one
- Continuously improve onboarding materials, processes and tools
- Act as an advisor to managers on employee relations topics
- Develop, review and maintain people policies that are clear, practical and legally compliant
- Ensure compliance with employment documentation and inductions
- Stay up to date with employment legislation and best practice, flagging risks and improvements
- Help embed and project our culture as the business grows
- Support the performance review process and help identify development opportunities
- Maintain accurate employee records and people data
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries related to people processes
- Support the planning of team socials, offsites and in person gatherings
- Support internal communications and team updates
- Create and maintain internal documentation, process guides and trackers
- Supporting wider team initiatives as required
