We are looking for a Professional In-Home Caregiver to join our team immediately in Dover, PA! You will be directly working with an 88-year-old gentleman who is primarily a companion care case, following a one-on-one care plan in his home. You will operate with a big heart by providing personalized and attentive care and building genuine relationships with those you serve. Prior Home Care, Dementia, or Hospice care experience is a plus. He lives with his son, his primary caregiver, but would like a bit of respite at this time. Caregiver MUST possess 2+ years of stage 3 or above level of care. He is a fall risk.

Hours: Currently, the hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 10 am-4 pm. For the right caregiver, the hours may increase based on this client's anticipated need and caregiver compatibility.

Pay rate: $13-$15

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
  • Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, or assisting with personal care
  • Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
  • Give medications and immunizations
  • Engage patients in exercises or other activities

Qualifications:

  • Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program or High School Diploma or GED
  • Two years of prior professional experience
  • Driver's license required

Caregivers, HHA's, CNA's and Senior Companions must also speak English, have a clean arrest record and a good driving record. Level 2 state background checks will be provided to all potential applicants.

Our pay scale is in the top 10% in the area. We also offer bonuses that other companies do not.

Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
