Who You Are: As a Corporate Accountant at Curaleaf, you’ll play a key role in supporting our national team by managing balance sheet accounts, debt, and stock-based compensation. You will drive accurate financial reporting through journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses while keeping a pulse on financial activity. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented problem solver who can anticipate financial impacts and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do: You will play a key role in accounting and month-end close, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, reconciling stock-based compensation and debt, analyzing variances, and maintaining balance sheet accuracy. You will enhance workpapers, support consolidated variance analysis, collaborate cross-functionally, and assist with audits. Additionally, you will help refine processes, strengthen internal controls, and drive continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring:
- You have a bachelor's degree in accounting.
- You bring 1–2 years of public accounting experience from a national or large regional firm.
- You have advanced Excel skills for managing large data sets with precision and a strong understanding of GAAP, including hands-on experience applying guidance to complex transactions.
- You have a strong grasp of general ledgers, financial statements, and drafting precise, efficient work papers.
- You excel in proactive communication, problem-solving, and collaboration, staying self-motivated in a dynamic environment.

- You are CPA-certified or actively working toward certification.
- You have experience in a public-company environment, including assessing and implementing internal controls.
- You have experience with Microsoft Dynamics and financial reporting tools like OneStream and Vena, along with a strong understanding of intercompany transactions.
