With ambitious growth plans, we are expanding our Clinical team to extend our first‐class support to more patients, providing them with the tools they need to live life to the fullest. As a Specialist Prescribing Pharmacist - Cannabis with Curaleaf International, you will play a key role in enabling patients to achieve their optimum level of health and independence, while consistently delivering an exemplary standard of care.
This is a full‐time, remote role, offering the flexibility to work from home while remaining closely connected to a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary clinical team.
About The RoleIn this role, you will support patients throughout their Curaleaf journey, from initial enquiry through to ongoing evaluation and management of their treatment. You will conduct remote consultations, including telephone and video assessments, to evaluate patient suitability and prescribe safely and effectively in line with clinical protocols and organisational policies. You will work autonomously while contributing to a wider MDT, ensuring patients receive high‐quality, consistent, and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities- Delivering a high‐quality, patient‐focused prescribing service remotely
- Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments and prescribing where appropriate
- Managing a defined caseload, including follow‐ups and treatment reviews
- Evaluating, organising, and prioritising workload effectively in a remote environment
- Maintaining accurate, timely, and comprehensive patient records
- Identifying and managing clinical risks, escalating appropriately when required
- Attending and contributing to Multi‐Disciplinary Team meetings (remotely)
- Providing patients and carers with clear, accessible written and verbal information regarding their treatment
- Offering clinical advice and support to colleagues and other healthcare professionals
- Contributing to audits, research initiatives, service development, and quality improvement projects

To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be a GPhC‐registered Prescribing Pharmacist (IP)
- Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, prescribing, and patient care skills
- Have a genuine interest in cannabis‐based medicinal treatment assessment, management, and evaluation
- Be confident conducting remote consultations via phone and video
- Be able to coordinate and deliver structured programmes of care
- Be adaptable and open to implementing improved ways of working
- Maintain up‐to‐date knowledge of emerging treatments and clinical developments
It would be beneficial if you have:
- Post‐registration experience within a clinical or prescribing setting
- Experience working in remote or virtual care models
- Involvement in audit, research, SOP development, or clinical governance
- Previous exposure to cannabis‐based medicinal products
