This role is an excellent opportunity for an Excel wizard looking to build hands‑on experience across core financial processes in a fast‑paced, highly regulated global business.

Responsibilities

  • Process supplier invoices, reconcile statements, and manage queries via our shared inbox to keep daily operations smooth and error‑free.
  • Support customer account reconciliations, assist with debt collection, and run regular bank reconciliations to ensure total financial accuracy.
  • Contribute to month‑end close activities, prepare key supporting schedules, and help build the management accounts that guide our business decisions.
  • Provide flexible support across the team, gaining exposure to full accounting processes and improvement projects that change how we work.

Must‑Have Skills & Experience

  • Strong IT skills, including accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Hands‑on exposure to management accounts preparation.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and consistent high accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills, priority setting, and deadline‑driven execution.
  • Clear, confident communication skills.
  • Strong team player who takes ownership of their work.
  • AAT Level 3 (or equivalent) – or currently studying towards it.

Bonus Points (Not Essential)

  • Experience with Sage 200 or Microsoft Business Central.
  • Background in regulated industries – pharma, manufacturing or similar global environments.
