About the Role
- Transactional Finance Support: Process supplier invoices, reconcile statements, and manage queries via our shared inbox – keeping daily operations smooth and error‑free.
- Accounts Receivable & Reconciliations: Support customer account reconciliations, help with debt collection, and run regular bank reconciliations to ensure total financial accuracy.
- Month‑End & Management Accounts: Contribute to month‑end close activities, prepare key supporting schedules, and help build the management accounts that guide our business decisions.
- General Finance Operations: Step in with flexible support across the team, while getting exposure to full accounting processes and improvement projects that change how we work.
Must‑Have Skills & Experience
- Strong IT skills – including accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Hands-on exposure to management accounts preparation.
- Impeccable attention to detail and consistent high accuracy.
- Great at organising tasks, prioritising work and hitting deadlines.
- Clear, confident communication skills.
- Happy to take ownership of your work while being a strong team player.
- AAT Level 3 (or equivalent) – or currently studying towards it.
Bonus Points (Not Essential!)
- Experience with Sage 200 or Microsoft Business Central.
- Background in regulated industries – pharma, manufacturing or similar global environments.
