We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our multi-disciplinary team, effectively managing medication related queries from patients who are prescribed medical cannabis. This is a hybrid role based from our offices in Sunderland.

Position:
About the Role:
As a Pharmacy Technician, responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Organising and prioritising workload to ensure that responses to patient queries are provided in a timely manner.
- Providing medication advice to patients verbally and in written form in an accessible manner; including but not limited to how to take medicines, common side effects, and interactions with other medications.
- Supporting the repeat prescription request process, identifying issues or discrepancies where necessary
- Implementing, maintaining, and improving systems, including IT requirements and the creation and update of SOPs
- Maintaining accurate appropriate and concise records, undertaking audits when required
- Contributing to a multi-professional approach in the management of patients, including attending and contributing to MDT meetings
- Actively involving service users in providing feedback of their experience of the current service and suggestions for improvements.
