The successful applicant will:
- Ensure all minor repairs and audit requirements are fixedin a timely manner.
- Guarantee adherence toregulatory and statutory requirementsandtothe company policies and procedures.
- Carry out all required tests and checks for various systems of the home on weekly, monthly, annual basis.
- Be responsibleforthelooking afterof the Care Home andcarry outplannedmaintenanceof theHome(painting,plumbing,minor refurbishments, etc)and able to assemble or install new equipment delivered to the Home.
- Be responsible for the maintenance of the home’s surrounding grounds (make sure pathways and driveways areuncluttered open andsafe, plantsof every typearetendered and hydrated)
- Make certain that light s and signs , internal and external, are in good shape , clear and evident.
- Liaise with contractors ensuring all work undertaken complies with site Health and Safety rules .
- Create and adhere to budgets .
- Carry out critical checks identifying and reporting all maintenance defects and problems.
- Confirm and maintain the operability of heating, lighting, plumbing and al l non-medical equipment required for the safe and efficient operation of the Home.
What we are looking for: Someone who can d eliver a level of care that truly comes from the heart, making sure our residents never lose their dignity or sense of individuality as you get involved in general activities within the C are H ome. And, whether you are helping someone with limited mobility to learn to use an aid, offering emotional support to a confused or distressed residentor delivering care to someone at the end of their life, you will always have their well-being in mind above anything else.
