The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering food service of high quality within the home, and also with meal service to the residents. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and cooking all daily meals for residents and staff.
  • Planning, preparing, and catering for modified diets and special events such as birthdays, ensuring the highest quality and presentation of the food served.
  • Demonstrating the uppermost standards in cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene in the kitchen area, including all equipment and appliances, adhering to all regulatory and statutory requirements and company policies and procedures.
  • Cleaning and taking care of equipment used to carry out tasks, such as utensils, plates, etc., and reporting any need for maintenance or replacement to the Catering Manager.
  • Being organised and good at keeping records as well as able to follow recipes.
