Support residents with restricted mobility to move to social areas and private bedrooms. Provide personal hygiene care for residents with reduced continence control, including toileting and changing continence pads. Perform turning and moving for less active residents to prevent pressure sores. Maintain tidy and pleasant bedroom environments by making beds, changing bed linen, and cleaning commodes. Clean and maintain personal care equipment such as commodes and wheelchairs. Follow safe systems of work, particularly moving and handling, assessing risks and ensuring safety for residents, visitors, and colleagues. Comply with Health and Safety at Work legislation, fire safety, and evacuation procedures. Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting dignity and individuality. Collaborate with the team, respond positively to colleagues, and follow reasonable work instructions promptly. Record interactions using personal care software.
