Cura Terrae is looking to recruit an HR Business Partner to join our growing People team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior HR professional, such as a Senior Advisor or HR Manager, looking to take the next step into a broader strategic HR role while continuing to develop their expertise. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how we deliver HR support across our group of environmental companies, driving engagement, culture, and performance in line with our People Plan and business strategy.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Act as a trusted partner to business leaders and managers, providing expert HR advice and support.
  • Deliver practical HR initiatives that drive performance, engagement, and cultural alignment with our People Plan.
  • Support all stages of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to development, retention, and exit.
  • Manage employee relations matters with fairness and in accordance with employment legislation and best practice.
  • Support positive change initiatives that create space for growth, innovation, and new ways of working.
  • Champion Cura Terrae’s values and promote engagement, inclusion, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Use HR systems and analytics to inform decision‑making and enhance HR service delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with the Group Head of People and wider People team to ensure a consistent, high‑quality HR experience across all Cura Terrae businesses.

What we’re looking for:

  • You’ll be a confident, hands‑on HR professional with strong generalist experience and the ability to partner effectively with leaders.
  • Previous experience in an operational HR role, ideally with exposure to multi‑site or group organisations.
  • Experience of implementing HR initiatives and strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and employee relations.
  • Experience of related HR administration.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Experience of using HR information systems and data to drive insights and improvements.
  • Experience in multi‑site or consultancy/professional services environment.
  • Systems development/implementation or process optimisation experience.
  • Mental Health First Aider certification.
  • Experience leading HR projects linked to growth, development, or positive change initiatives.
