What You’ll Be Doing…
- Providing 3rd line technical support across a range of platforms and services in a growing multi‑company group.
- Acting as an escalation point for 1st/2nd line queries and supporting team development through knowledge sharing and technical leadership.
- Leading or supporting the implementation of new infrastructure projects, cloud migrations, and digital transformation programmes.
- Managing core platforms such as Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune MDM, Azure AD, and Windows Server environments.
- Supporting endpoint provisioning, device management, and platform configuration in a secure, scalable way.
- Collaborating with third‑party providers, internal teams, and senior stakeholders to deliver seamless service and innovation.
- Maintaining up‑to‑date technical documentation and ensuring system integrity and cyber security compliance (including Cyber Essentials).
Key Technologies You’ll Work With
- Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform)
- Intune & Endpoint Manager
- Windows Server 2016/2019, Hyper‑V
- Active Directory, Group Policy
- Networking: Firewalls, switches, routers, wireless networks
- Backup & DR: Veeam, cloud backup solutions
- Security Tools: MFA, conditional access, email filtering, web filtering
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in IT support, including significant 3rd line and project‑based work.
- Strong working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and endpoint management.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills across servers, networks, and user environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills — you’ll work closely with users and senior leaders alike.
- Experience working with MSPs or in‑house IT teams covering multiple sites.
- A proactive, self‑driven mindset with a commitment to learning and development.
- Microsoft Certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, M365 Fundamentals, Security)
- CCNA, VCP, CWNA, or equivalent
- Experience with ITIL or structured service desk processes
