Cura Terrae Water is seeking a highly driven Sales Manager to drive the front-end growth of our Industrial Water Monitoring division. This role combines technical expertise, commercial insight, and leadership to expand market presence, drive revenue, and develop a high-performing sales team.
Your Role
- Grow the Industrial Water business through the preparation, submission and conversion of high quality value add proposals.
- Lead the team to achieve business plan targets, strengthen client relationships, and position Cura Terrae as a market leader.
Strategic Growth & Business Development
- Develop and execute divisional sales strategy, aligned with Cura Terrae’s wider objectives.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, including cross-selling complementary services across the Group.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and collaborators.
- Oversee pipeline development, deal negotiation, and successful contract closure.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to define and promote Cura Terrae’s unique value proposition.
Operational Excellence & Project Delivery
- Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality technical and commercial proposals, bids, and tenders using our AI-enabled platform.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Industrial Water team and other departments, ensuring clarity, collaboration, and efficiency.
- Champion client satisfaction by continuously improving the client journey and internal processes.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and safety-conscious culture.
- Conduct performance appraisals, identify development needs, and implement professional growth plans.
- Encourage innovation, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement across the team.
Performance Monitoring
- Define KPIs and success metrics for the team, aligned with company objectives.
- Monitor progress, analyse performance data, and implement actions to drive continuous improvement and business results.
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Qualifications- Degree-level education; postgraduate qualification and CPD desirable.
- Strong technical knowledge of flow, water quality monitoring, and data acquisition.
- Proven track record in business development, sales, and strategic account management.
- Understanding of relevant legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience leading and managing teams to achieve operational and commercial objectives.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Strong commercial acumen, including budget management and resource planning.
- Proactive, innovative, and able to respond effectively to new challenges.
