An established and reputable care provider is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of one of its residential/nursing care homes. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and commercially minded manager with a strong background in delivering high-quality, person-centred care while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining exceptional care standards, driving occupancy, managing financial performance and leading a dedicated team to deliver the highest quality service for residents.
The RoleAs Registered Manager, you will:
- Oversee the day-to-day management and operation of the care home.
- Provide inspirational leadership, fostering a positive culture centred on kindness, compassion and person-centred care.
- Ensure full compliance with all CQC regulations and relevant legislation, maintaining the highest standards of care and governance.
- Lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team, creating an environment where colleagues can thrive.
- Manage the home's budget, ensuring financial objectives are achieved while maintaining excellent standards of care.
- Develop and implement effective marketing and business development strategies to maximise occupancy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals, commissioners and other stakeholders.
- Monitor quality assurance, risk management and clinical governance processes to drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager and wider support teams to deliver operational and commercial success.
The successful candidate will be supported by experienced Operations and Central Support teams, alongside an established Deputy Manager, Administrator, Hospitality and Housekeeping teams.
About YouApplicants should have:
- Previous experience managing a residential or nursing care home.
- A strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards.
- A proven track record of achieving or working towards Good or Outstanding CQC ratings.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, occupancy and business performance within the private care sector.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional person-centred care.
- The ability to drive continuous improvement and support the ongoing growth of the service.
- NMC registration and post-registration experience is desirable but not essential.
