An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious Nursing Home Manager to lead the next stage of the home's journey.
The Role
- Full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, team performance, and commercial success.
- Providing inspirational leadership and direction to the staff team, fostering a positive and supportive culture.
- Ensuring full compliance with all CQC regulations and maintaining outstanding standards of care and service delivery.
- Managing the home's financial performance, budgets, and operational efficiency.
- Driving occupancy through effective relationship building, local networking, and strategic marketing initiatives.
- Building strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and key stakeholders.
- Supporting, coaching, and developing colleagues to achieve their full potential.
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives with the aim of further enhancing quality outcomes and resident satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience managing a nursing and/or residential care home.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and a proven track record of achieving positive inspection outcomes.
- Demonstrable experience driving quality improvements and service development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and occupancy levels.
- A genuine passion for delivering person-centred care and creating positive resident outcomes.
- NMC registration is desirable but not essential.
