About the RoleAs Deputy Manager (Clinical), you will play a vital leadership role in ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in line with CQC standards and best practice.
You will:
- Provide day-to-day clinical leadership to nursing and care teams
- Support the Home Manager in the overall running of the service
- Take full responsibility in the Managers absence
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and company policies
- Oversee care planning, clinical audits, and medication management
- Maintain accurate documentation and high standards of record keeping
- Conduct pre-admission and ongoing resident assessments
- Build strong relationships with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
- Mentor, supervise, and develop staff to deliver exceptional care
- NMC Registered Nurse (essential)
- Previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager or in a senior clinical role
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards and clinical governance
- A genuine passion for person-centred care
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to identify and manage safeguarding concerns effectively
- A collaborative approach to working with residents, families, and professionals
