An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and passionate Clinical Deputy Home Manager to join a well-established nursing home in the West Midlands. The Role
As Clinical Deputy Home Manager, you will support the overall management of the service, helping to ensure the home operates safely, effectively, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements. You will provide clinical leadership across the home, mentoring and supporting nurses and care staff while promoting best practice, continuous improvement, and exceptional resident outcomes. In the Home Manager's absence, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring high standards of care, governance, and operational performance are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Home Manager in the effective day-to-day management of the home.
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing and care teams.
- Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care.
- Maintain compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct clinical audits and monitor quality assurance processes.
- Review, update, and oversee care plans and risk assessments.
- Support medication management and clinical governance procedures.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing and care staff.
- Carry out pre-admission assessments and ongoing resident evaluations.

About You

Essential Requirements
- Current NMC registration (RGN or RMN).
- Previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager, Clinical Lead, or senior nursing professional within a nursing home setting.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance.
- Experience leading, mentoring, and supporting care teams.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to effectively manage clinical risk and safeguarding responsibilities.
- Passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
