An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious Nursing Home Manager to lead a well-established nursing home in the West Midlands. This is a home with strong foundations, a committed team, and a clear vision for delivering exceptional, person-centred care. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build on an already solid platform, driving quality, occupancy, team engagement, and commercial performance while creating an outstanding experience for residents and their families.
Supported by an experienced Operations Team, alongside an established Deputy Manager, Administrator, Hospitality and Housekeeping teams, you will have the resources and support needed to make a lasting impact.
The Role
- Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and occupancy growth.
- Ensure the service consistently meets and exceeds regulatory standards and CQC requirements.
- Drive a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and person-centred care.
- Manage budgets effectively and deliver against financial targets.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and local stakeholders.
- Lead quality initiatives aimed at achieving and maintaining excellent inspection outcomes.
About You
- We are seeking a motivated and commercially aware leader who combines a passion for care with strong operational and business management skills.
- Previous experience managing a nursing and/or residential care home.
- Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop care teams.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing budgets and delivering commercial performance.
- Demonstrable success in maintaining occupancy and promoting care services.
- Genuine commitment to delivering outstanding person-centred care.
Desirable
- Nurse qualified with active NMC registration.
- Track record of achieving or working towards "Good" and "Outstanding" CQC ratings.
