We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Care Home Manager to lead a well-established, purpose-built nursing home in Partington, Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and commercially minded leader to take full operational responsibility for a high-quality care service that provides nursing, dementia and residential care in a modern, welcoming environment.

The home offers a comfortable and thoughtfully designed setting for residents, with premium facilities including landscaped gardens, a café, cinema room and sunroom. Our client is looking for a strong leader who can continue to drive standards, maintain regulatory compliance and lead a dedicated team to deliver exceptional person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strong leadership and clear direction to the staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion and person-centred care.
  • Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, maintaining high standards of care and governance.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring safe, effective and high-quality service delivery.
  • Manage the home's budget and financial performance, ensuring targets are met and resources are used efficiently.
  • Develop and implement marketing and occupancy strategies to maintain full capacity and promote the home within the local community.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, professionals and external stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement and work towards achieving high regulatory ratings.

Requirements

  • Previous experience managing a nursing home.
  • NMC Registered Nurse with relevant post-registration experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and a track record of achieving high inspection ratings.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience managing budgets and delivering commercially successful care services.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding, person-centred care.
