Decoy Farm is a small, friendly and person-centred service supporting 10 adults with learning disabilities . We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Registered Manager to join the team and lead the service through its next stage of development. Working closely with the Operations Manager and wider Head Office team, you will play a key role in strengthening the service, improving quality and supporting Decoy Farm on its journey towards achieving a Good CQC rating . As Registered Manager, you will lead a dedicated team to ensure the people we support receive safe, compassionate and high-quality care while being encouraged to achieve their goals and dreams. The Role As Registered Manager, you will provide strong day-to-day leadership across the service, ensuring that high standards of care, compliance and safeguarding are maintained. You will work in partnership with the Operations team and Head Office, with excellent support available to help you succeed in the role. Your responsibilities will include: Providing effective leadership and direction to the care team. Promoting a positive, inclusive and person-centred culture. Ensuring the people we support receive high-quality care and support tailored to their individual needs. Leading on quality improvement and preparing the service to achieve a Good CQC rating . Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and best practice. Monitoring and improving care standards, documentation and service quality. Supporting, developing and motivating staff to reach their potential. Working effectively with families, professionals and other stakeholders. Maintaining strong safeguarding practices and ensuring the wellbeing of everyone supported. Managing the service effectively, including staffing, organisation and operational requirements. Using a range of IT systems and platforms to maintain accurate records and complete required reporting. Continuously reviewing and improving the way the service operates. Knowledge & Experience You should have a good understanding of the regulatory framework governing adult social care, including: Health and Social Care Act CQC regulations CQC Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs) Fundamental Standards CQC Quality Statements Safeguarding and best practice in learning disability services RNLD or RMN with an active NMC PIN is desirable. You will also need: Previous management or senior leadership experience within health or social care. Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities. Good IT skills and confidence using multiple systems and platforms. A full UK driving licence.
