As a Mechanical Reliability Engineer, you will join the Asset Health & Performance Team to help monitor and improve asset performance, ensuring reliability, resilience, and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize asset-specific mechanical monitoring measures
- Propose improvements to mechanical asset performance and resilience
- Review maintenance performance and reliability data to identify risks
- Develop reliability improvement processes
- Provide evidence of improvements and cost savings
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree/HND in Mechanical Engineering
- Relevant mechanical maintenance experience, ideally apprentice-trained
- Knowledge of reliability improvement techniques
- Experience with mechanical equipment maintenance
- Proficiency with CMMS (e.g., SAP S4)
- Support and embed change management
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of condition monitoring techniques
- Effective communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Pivot Tables
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel
- Water industry experience
