Work type: Permanent, 37 hours/week, Monday to Friday

As a Mechanical Reliability Engineer, you will join the Asset Health & Performance Team to help monitor and improve asset performance, ensuring reliability, resilience, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize asset-specific mechanical monitoring measures
  • Propose improvements to mechanical asset performance and resilience
  • Review maintenance performance and reliability data to identify risks
  • Develop reliability improvement processes
  • Provide evidence of improvements and cost savings

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree/HND in Mechanical Engineering
  • Relevant mechanical maintenance experience, ideally apprentice-trained
  • Knowledge of reliability improvement techniques
  • Experience with mechanical equipment maintenance
  • Proficiency with CMMS (e.g., SAP S4)
  • Support and embed change management

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of condition monitoring techniques
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Pivot Tables
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel
  • Water industry experience
