Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Delivery Lead / Project Manager to join the Technology team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers.
What We Do
We provide essential water and wastewater services to the Yorkshire region, supporting communities and protecting the environment. The Technology function delivers software projects within our Change portfolio and works across the business to align workstreams with strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Scope and initiate projects, including preparation of key documentation.
- Lead and guide IT Project Managers delivering technical components.
- Ensure financial management and commercial awareness underpin all decisions.
- Coordinate inputs and activities across multiple contributors and workstreams.
- Establish project boards and support sponsors in maintaining effective governance.
What Skills & Qualifications You Will Need
- Strong stakeholder management across all levels.
- Ability to produce high-quality documentation for governance processes.
- Proven experience in project implementation and driving cultural change.
- Track record of delivering projects on time, within scope and budget.
- Skilled in managing resources within a project environment.
- Experience leading multiple projects and delivering change.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and blended delivery methodologies.
- Holds a project management qualification (e.g. APM, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
