We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Operations Manager to join the Water Service Delivery Team and help Yorkshire Water provide the best service to our customers. The role drives business performance and direction through strong leadership of a team of operational and technical colleagues to ensure safe and efficient delivery of customer-focused outcomes, including high water quality and customer service.

Where You Fit In
The Field Operations Manager drives performance and direction through leadership of a team of operational and technical colleagues to ensure safe and efficient delivery of key metrics and sector-leading customer experience. The role collaborates with the Manager of Field Operations and Asset Management to deliver strategy and changes to hit performance targets in AMP8 and achieve health and safety excellence, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities and Objectives
• Lead and develop a team to achieve upper quartile Supply Interruptions and Water Quality performance and outstanding customer experience
• Deliver world-class asset and operational excellence across Yorkshire Water assets
• Promote a culture of safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement
• Translate strategy into actionable plans to deliver business plan outperformance
What Skills & Qualifications You Will Need
- Understanding of water networks and management of above- and below-ground assets
- Experience or recognizable skillset preferred within the water industry, regulators, or utility sector
- Strong operational and people leadership with analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to safety and outstanding safety management
- Motivation to provide unrivalled customer service
- Track record of delivering successful change in a sustainable manner
- Strong networking and influencing skills
- Ability to understand data and formulate effective team strategies

Benefits and Additional Information
Salary is competitive and depends on experience. Benefits include car allowance, annual incentive up to 10% of salary, private health care (self only), pension scheme with company contribution up to 12%, life assurance (4x pensionable salary), 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and wellness day, plus optional benefits such as health cash plan, critical illness insurance, dental insurance, and other health and wellbeing discounts.
