Business Analyst

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join the Technology team at Yorkshire Water and help provide the best service to our customers. Location: Buttershaw / Hybrid Working (1-2 days in the office a week, Bradford). Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

What You Do

• Lead business analysis across multiple change initiatives, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements
• Produce specifications for IT solutions including UI design, data models, process changes, and interfaces
• Apply requirements engineering techniques such as elicitation, analysis, validation, documentation, and traceability
• Use stakeholder interviews, workshops, and surveys to capture accurate requirements
• Develop AS-IS and TO-BE process models and support gap analysis for transition planning
• Manage stakeholder communications across all levels
• Ensure User Acceptance Testing is completed and support related testing activities
• Contribute to the delivery of effective, fit-for-purpose business solutions
